Spencer’s Early Life and Basketball Career

Felton Spencer was born on January 15, 1968, in Louisville, Kentucky. He attended Ballard High School, where he snappily established himself as a talented basketball player. Spencer went on to play council basketball for the Louisville Cardinals, where he came a name center and led the platoon to an NCAA Final Four appearance in 1989.

In 1990, Spencer was drafted as the 6th overall pick by the Minnesota Timberwolves. He played for the Timberwolves for five seasons, comprising8.0 points and6.7 rebounds per game. Spencer latterly played for the Utah Jazz, Orlando Magic, Golden State soldiers, and Denver Nuggets, before retiring in 2002.
